On this 25th anniversary, remembering and honoring all those who lost their lives and whose lives were changed forever on 9/11. The thousands killed that day, the first responders who gave their lives and who've battled cancer and disease because they ran into the fire or toiled at Ground Zero, the men and women who gave their lives or suffered wounds seen and unseen in the two decades of war that followed, and the countless families that have never felt whole since. We honor them all today. And maybe the best way we can honor them is by remembering what it felt like to be Americans that day, standing together in grief, in love, in support for one another, and in a recognition that we're all in this together.
